For the first time in Izutsuya's history, we prepared a Kamogawa Noryo Yuka. Please cool off in the Kyoto summer and enjoy your meal while listening to the murmuring of the Kamogawa River.
●When you use the Kamogawa Noryo Yuka, please read the following information.Noryoyuka is one of Kyoto's summer traditions, and is said to have continued for about 400 years since the era of Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
This refers to the floor that extends from the inside of the restaurant along the Kamogawa River.
Noryo Yukas are located in four places which are "Kamogawa Noryo Yuka", "Kibune no Kawadoko", "Takao no Kawadoko", and "Shozan Kei Ryodoko" in Kyoto, and you enjoy the unique atmosphere at each places.
Today, there are more than 100 Kamogawa Noryo Yuka restaurants operating their "Yuka" on the riverbank and we are making efforts to pass down the cultural customs of Noryo Yuko to the future.
